Karen Corbett Sanders discusses the boundary policy at the Stratford Landing ES Forum and her commitment to an open and transparent process that includes community engagement. Good governance means making sure the over-arching policy is in place prior to a discussion of specific boundary changes that may be required to accommodate the estimated 5,400 additional students coming into the Mount Vernon District and 10,000 additional students in the Tysons Corridor in the coming years as a result of anticipated area development.
